11" long painted tin with lithoed boy and girl driver. 1930s. Beautifully designed in art deco fashion with streamlined body and chrome accents. Toy is surrounded by heavy rubber tubing. This has hardened somewhat and has a few scuff marks and small crack where it is joined together. Appropriately period dressed boy and girl in red/white are seated inside. Boy holds lithoed steering wheel. Toy works well and moves all around in erratic fashion. When striking object, it backs up. Comes with appropriate large key. Decal has numerous small stress lines not affecting image and no flaking. Original window has a few small marks, car body has bit of missing paint along one edge not offensive. For a toy that would normally take a lot of abuse, this apparently had little play. VF.
