Item Description
9" long by 8" tall litho with attached black cloth roof. Made in Japan, distributed by Hubley of Lancaster, Pa ©1961 UPA Pictures Inc. Box has colorful illustrations on lid. Side panels show 3 illustrations of Magoo in car with text above each reading "Steer/Rocks, Rattles, Rolls/Removable Top." Box has obvious wear with a 1x1" split on lid repaired with clear tape. Other small tears on a corner and one side also repaired with tape. Has overall dust soiling, darker on one side than the rest. Has missing surface paper where old price tag was on one side. Also has color rubs, a few creases and a bit of pen marks on one corner of lid. VG/Fine. Toy itself works well with all the aforementioned actions. Very little wear. Just a few barely noticeable lt. scratches. Toy seldom found this nice and with super-clean battery box. Exc. A classic battery toy as well as an interesting character toy. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
