Item Description
8.5" long tin litho with built-in key. 1928. One of the earlier of the eccentric cars. Toy has original suitcase and windshield. Toy and tires are covered with various humorous phrases such as "The Ride-Em Rough Tire Company, O-Ma The Dent Maker, So's Your Old Can" plus several others. Suitcase and trunk are covered with travel stickers from various countries as well as more humorous tags such as Nutley, Lemon, Bump Port, etc. Car works and travels around in erratic fashion while driver's head turns and every now and then rears up and back down again. Toy has a few spots of oxidation on back wheels. Wear around neck where head turns and where top of body was pinched there are some bare spots of metal, probably as produced. Fine.
