Item Description
Lot of twenty-two 8.5x10" newspaper section inserts for Newark, NJ "The Star Ledger" newspaper. Issues in lot issued in Feb., 1951 - Sep. 21, 1952. Issues feature Will Eisner's famed pulp action hero The Spirit. Aug. 12, 1951 issue is Eisner's last and comic was then taken over by Wally Wood. Issues vary in condition with aging/handling wear, most are Fine-VF overall, a few are VG. Lot includes several rare issues by Wally Wood.
