Item Description
3.5" square base with two 2.25" tall all-tin litho toy by Biller, Germany. 1950s. Box graphics depict progression of a boxing match. Box shows heavy wear. Lid is gone. Sides have tears, paper loss, smudges. Good. Toy is meant to depict boxers Joe Louis and Max Schmeling although they are not identified as such. Works and comes with a key. Boxers lunge at each other throwing punches resulting in one of them knocked backwards, scoring a victory for the other. The original rubberband ropes are replaced with string. Minute paint nicks. Exc.
