7.5" toy tin litho painted tin with flocked mule. 1920s Germany. Original box has darkened on top and has splits on sides and some of these have been repaired with clear tape. Box also has one small pinpoint puncture mark. Bottom of box has side splits and aging. One interesting box note is that it is highly embossed on one side with the Lehmann "Marke" and symbol. VG. Toy works with its built-in key and travels about back and forth as clown also moves rapidly up and down. Toy has beautiful lithography of clowns on wheels and on back of cart. Very lt. wear. Few tiny pinpoint paint nicks. Original clothing is bright and fresh. Exc.
