12x20x3" deep heavy steel case contains largely complete set by A.C. Gilbert Co. ©1954. Has colorful label on lid of boy assembling girders although this has 1x.5" chip along edge and staining. Outer case has scratches and few areas of missing paint where box clips attach. Inside lid label has a few ripples. Comes with heavily illustrated book ©1954. This has numerous creases on front cover, o/w Fine. Contents include electric motor litho tin shack, for wheels, boiler bodies, numerous girders, large plates with holes, etc. Overall these all appear Fine/VF. One of the larger sets. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
