Item Description
24" long painted pressed steel with litho grille and side signs and wooden wheels. Early 1950s. Streamlined truck has nice appearance. Has painted white metal headlight inserts and red plastic jewels encased in metal frames on front and back of trailer. One of the trailer wheels' wooden hubs has a few missing pieces. Tire still holds to wheel tightly. Spare tire on back of trailer has a few cracks in rubber. Trailer was originally meant to be permanently attached to cab, however it has become detached through the years. This could be remedied by folding pressed steel tabs down and then back out again as originally manufactured at the fifth wheel area. Truck and trailer have a few scratches and small areas of missing paint due to play wear. Cab has .5x.25" spot of lt. oxidation. Few scratches on the litho tin trailer signs as well. Overall Fine. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
