7x10x1.75" deep box contains 2 complete puzzles, first showing crime and second revealing solution. "First, Put Together The Large Piece Puzzle Showing The Crime As Dick Tracy First Saw It. Now See If You Can Solve The Crime. Then - For The Solution, Put Together The Small Piece Puzzle." Jaymar Specialty Co. ©1948 Famous Artists Syndicate. First puzzle shows Dick Tracy, Pat and the Chief at scene of murder with Butler, maid and man in clown costume. Second puzzle reveals clown as the killer. Box shows corner tip wear with st. concave to lid. Corners remain tight. Original tape strips at top and bottom side panels. Box bottom has .25" hole but overall box is Fine. Puzzle pieces show lt. wear and are overall Fine/VF. Great concept and design. Scarce.
