Item Description
6" tall tin litho toy with built-in key. c. 1950s. ©KFS. Toy depicts Popeye wearing roller skates and in pose holding a plate with can of spinach up into the air. Complete with pipe consisting of metal rod stem and wooden bowl. Popeye wears synthetic fabric pants. Toy works and he skates about while changing direction every so often. Fabric pants show moderate aging. Lithographed areas remain glossy. Pinpoint paint nick to Popeye's chin. Lithographed areas display VF. Classic design.
