Item Description
9.5x12.5" fabric bag with vinyl piping and leather band closure straps. Main flap has 1.5x5.25" leather panel with "Howdy Doody" name and Bob Smith copyright. c. 1950s. 5.25x7.5" front snap compartment has full-color 2.75x3.5" oilcloth 3-D portrait of Howdy Doody. Hard plastic handle and bag show lt. aging with wear to leather straps. Oilcloth has a few areas of missing paint, mostly to raised areas on Howdy's cheeks and nose. Face is somewhat indented. Bag is Exc. Howdy's face is Fine. Rare.
