Item Description
2x3x2.5" tall tin litho. Japan, 1930s. Lid depicts Mickey and Minnie digging for treasure with sign in bkg. "Isle Of Thrift." Above slot is text "We'll Do Our Best To Fill This Chest." Around sides are illustrations of Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Clara Cluck, Clarabelle, Peter Pig and Big Bad Wolf with city scene bkg. including a bank building and dirigible. Mickey holds 2 bags of money with pound symbol on each. Scattered tiny paint nicks and scratches, mostly to edges. Other minor wear mostly only visible in reflected light.
