Item Description
Pair totally unmarked but Japanese and from the 1930s. Each is a die-cut thin cardboard figure 5.25" tall and holds a pair of metal cymbals while attached to 14" long wood sticks. When shook, arm moves and bangs cymbals together. All cymbals have most of the silver finish worn off along with some tiny dots of oxidation. Mickey has minor ear bend, o/w VF. Betty has crease at neck, die-cut arm neatly re-attached at elbow. VG. Scarce and interesting pair. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
