Item Description
Pair c. mid-1930s. First is "Magic Movie Palette A Xmas Gift From Mickey Mouse" premium issued by various stores. c. 1935. This has imprint of "Kerr's Toy Fair." Front/back feature image of Mickey with a large paint palette that has die-cut window at top to view different images that change as attached disk is spun. Shows Mickey ice skating and Minnie walking through the snow. Card opens to reveal the attached disk along with additional art of Mickey and Minnie. Lt. aging. VF. Second is "Christmas Toy News" 11x16" with 8 pages on newsprint, has imprint of "Rice Hardware Co. New Jersey." c. 1936. Features a great selection of toys, many character related including Mickey Mouse Circus Game, Donald Duck Fisher Price pull toy and Lionel rail car, Orphan Annie & Sandy doll set, G-Man gun and fingerprint set, Popeye items including print set and wind-ups "Popeye The Pilot, Popeye Flyers, Popeye Express." Lt. margin wear with .5" tear at left center edge. Still totally clean and VF. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
