Auction #196 - Part I
Item numbers 1 though 975 in auction 196
Item Description
2.5" long consisting of brass wire plus circular brass piece upon which is mounted a brass plate with rounded corners. Text is "Liston Vs. Clay/Heavyweight Championship 1964/Distinguished Sportsman." The circular disk moves up and down and a bar on the underside would serve to clip paper money into position. We don't know the meaning of the text but the piece has Mint luster and is the only example we've seen.
