Item Description
This is one of the very few items in CPB that was not technically a button. It is a 1.25" choice color celluloid mounted on a 2" vertical pin. Reverse covered tin back with name of maker Torsch & Lee, Baltimore, MD. From the very first year such celluloid items were made with center color scene of buildings, lighthouse, boardwalk covered with people and steps leading down to sandy beach with numerous bathers. Reads "Just Tell Them That You Saw Me On The New Boardwalk/Atlantic City 1896." About the fourth we've seen. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Amusement Parks/Beaches Section #8.
