Item Description
7/8" with book title at center "'War Is A Racket'" while around rim edge is name of a group "American League Against War & Fascism." Book was written by Marine General Smedley Butler, see following item for details. This button has light yellow tone to it with just a few tiny and faint gray marks around the center. His book was published in 1935 and, while not a Communist, he gave many speeches between 1935 and 1937 for the Communist-dominated group named on the button. Only example we've seen.
