Auction #196 - Part II
Item numbers 976 though 2670 in auction 196
Item Description
Group of 4 rare pins, first we've seen, from the 1930s. First is 1-3/8" probably meant to represent Little Annie Rooney. Superb color and essentially Mint. Next are male and female birds in enamel outfits, him with cane and her with umbrella. As far as we know, these do not represent any named characters but they are quite charming. Last is a 2.25" tall plastic pin of a hitchhiker in sweater and slacks. Initial "C" on his sweater and his arm with up-raised thumb is movable. By his leg is his suitcase inscribed with his destination "New York." All display essentially Mint. Rare pieces.
