7" tall tin litho toy with built-in key comes in box with lid illustrated on all sides. 1950s. Lid has 2.5" tear at bottom center that extends from under Goofy's cycle to the front side panel. Also has some color loss at this area, lid has one corner split. Fine. Toy is complete with pair of rubber ears and fabric pants. Bell attached to back includes portrait of Mickey's nephew and Pluto. Toy works, travels around in a circle, Goofy's legs move as if peddling and the bell rings. Slightest aging to pants but nearly full bright blue color remains, typically found with noticeably faded pants. Scattered pinpoint nicks but remains bright and glossy. VF. Scarce with box.
