4.25x5x1.5" deep box with hinged lid contains watch with 7/8" dia. metal case and original fabric band. 1950s by U.S. Time. Text on lid reads "Walt Disney's Alice In Wonderland Wrist Watch." On inside of lid is choice bkg. scene of the Mad Hatter pouring tea. Inside of lid originally had an acetate sheet cel-like overlay with image of Alice. This is missing. Box has split at hinge with tape repair to outside. Moderate box wear/aging including color rubs. Outside of box VG. Inside lid image remains Exc. Complete with insert to hold the watch. Band worn, VG. Watch itself is running and Exc. We have seen this style box used for Cinderella and Snow White watches which are themselves rare, this is the first we've ever seen of this Alice box.
