Complete set of 25 litho tin 13/16" buttons. These were sold in the 1930s with a piece of gum in a wax wrapper titled "Button Gum." Others in the series include presidents (see lot #243), baseball players, western frontiersmen, Indians and several others. The inks on these were quite susceptible to scratches and dust. This set is much cleaner than average with just a couple that show a tiny paint dot off or very slight darkening. Visually the only damage that stands out much is a .25" tan line on the cheek of Clark Gable. Vast majority are Exc. to N. Mint. Only the third full set we've offered over the years.
