Item Description
Released April 22, 2004 to celebrate the grand opening of the ride opening at Disney's California Adventure. Limited to just 100, issued at $125 and was an instant sell-out. 14.25x17.75" frame with double mat that has 7.5x11.5" opening around set of 3 relief-mounted pins. Pins are 1.25" to 2" tall enameled metal depicting frightened images of Mickey, Donald and Goofy. Bkg. features eyeballs, four of which are plastic "google" eyes to give a 3-D effect with movement. At bottom center is additional opening around .75" tall pin featuring logo of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Mat has hand-inked "LE 100" and set comes with certificate. Mint and ready for display. Comes in original shipping carton. A highly sought-after pin set. Imaginative design. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
