Item Description
4.5x9x1.75" box with "Ralston Purina Company Checkerboard Square" return address label. Box is missing end flaps. Aged, creased and brittle. Box just Good. Box held 1930s 8.5" wood gun. Ralston premium with stamped "TM" brand and facsimile signature on one side of grip. Other side reads "Ralston Straight Shooters." Bottom of grip is stamped "For Display Purpose." First we've seen with this stamp marking. Likely sent to grocers for display before radio offer. Gun has revolving chamber and is hinged in front of trigger area for chamber access. Lightly aged. Overall Fine. Rare.
