Item Description
Lot of four. c. 1930s. First is 3.5x6.5" postally-canceled envelope with return address from "Office Of The Commander Supplee Lone Ranger Club/Philadelphia." Envelope has been neatly opened (not torn) from the flap end. Envelope Fine. 3x6" tri-fold "Supple Lone Ranger Club" folder has back text "Supplee/Sealtest/Milk And Ice Cream." Text inside folder explains secret signal/Lone Ranger whistle/password. Folder is Exc. Attached to right side of folder is 1-3/8" dia. bright gold luster club member badge. Blue/red text with image of Ranger in center. Tiny text at bottom reads "Copyright TLR 1938." Badge is N. Mint. Lot also includes 8.25x11" folded-as-issued letter from "Lone Ranger Headquarters/Supplee-Wills-Jones Milk Co." Bottom of letter has facsimile signature of "Colonel Bill/Commander Of Supplee Rangers." Letter is Exc. As nice as they come. Rare as complete.
