Item Description
This scarce ring from Jack Armstrong and Wheaties dates from 1940 and was known as the "Dragon's Eye Ring." The creamy plastic bands are in the shape of crocodiles with open jaws flanking the ring top which has a slightly raised very dark green simulated emerald stone. When glowing in the dark, this plastic stone becomes the "Dragon's Eye" as it does not glow while the surrounding areas do. A tiny bit of dust lodged in the minute crevices forming the alligator's scales but this just helps the details show up much better than they would o/w. Ring comes to us from its original owner. Glows nicely in the dark. Exc. and Scarce.
