Item Description
8.5x11" script with textured paper covers and original 2 hole punches with heavy brass grommet bindings. Script is for pilot episode which became "Hi Diddle Riddle" which aired Jan. 12, 1966. Most "Batman" scripts have yellow covers in production but this script was written before series was secured and functioned as a concept script to sell the series. Script features numerous different multicolored pages, each different color representing a revision. Cover has "Revised Draft" text as well as noting script was written by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and notes Executive Producer William Dozier and Director Robert Butler. "Greenway Productions In Association With Twentieth-Century Fox Television Inc." notation at bottom. Cover has aging at margins and lt. scattered dust soiling. VF with Exc.-N. Mint contents. Great content from early in Batman's TV career. From the Craig Warren Collection.
