Item Description
6.75x10.5" complete album consisting of 22 stiff paper pages plus front and back covers. These souvenir albums were obtained by redeeming coupons packed w/cigarettes. Album features images from Series 1 and 2 cards "Costumes Of All Nations (Actors and Actresses)." Interspersed throughout are half and full page additional actress images including Lilly Langtry and Lillian Russell. © 1888 W. Duke Sons & Co., Lithographed by Knapp & Co., New York. Front and back covers have obvious wear/aging, front cover has .5" corner tip missing, back cover has .5" corner tip missing as well as .5x3" strip along left edge plus 3" tear. Several inside pages are either stuck now or were once stuck together near spine edge so there are some surface paper pulls and wear. All pages have small margin/corner tip wear or aging but for the most part, contents remain bright, clean w/superb art. Contents overall Fine.
