Item Description
Two complete sets issued by Godfrey Phillips Ltd., England. One set is "Shots From The Films" from 1934 consisting of 48 cards while the other is "Famous Love Scenes" from 1939 consisting of 36 cards. All cards are 2x2-3/8". Fronts feature great photos while backs have text pertaining to that particular film. Many of Hollywood's biggest stars and most classic films are featured. Stars include Greta Garbo, Errol Flynn, Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, Mae West, many others. Films include The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Great Ziegfield, The Scarlet Pimpernel, A Tale of Two Cities, etc. All cards are N. Mint/Mint.
