It is in the issue included in this lot that a young Edward G. Nickerson wrote in to the "Pulse Of The Nation" letters page and had his letter printed. In this letter he notes that he has decided to join The Shadow Club and has enclosed 10¢ in order to obtain the very stud that is included w/this pulp. Consignor visited Mr. Nickerson in the 1990s, Nickerson was still living at his childhood home and our consignor bought the very same lapel stud from him.
