Item Description
10.5x14x1.5" deep box contains complete set for performing "Ten World Famous Magic Tricks." 1930s. Nice lid art depicting Chandu using a crystal ball, text includes "Simple Enough For A Child To Master-Perplexing Enough To Interest The Grownups" and also notes original price of $2. Box has obvious dust soiling/aging and edge wear including small surface paper flakes/chips, right edge has a 4" split. VG. Set consists of individually boxed tricks plus other loose pieces, all attached to insert and comes w/detailed instruction booklet. Tricks include "Multiplying Billiard Balls, Magic Cones, Magical Coin," etc. including three different card tricks. We have seen this set w/order coupon for White King Soap, one of the radio program sponsors, but not included w/this set. Contents show scattered lt. wear but overall are VF/Exc. Nice set. From the Tomart Archives and comes w/COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
