Item Description
Lot of 6 issues including #s 7, 10, 15, 23, 36 and 57. Fawcett Publications Inc. Published Apr., 1943-Nov., 1947. Issue #10 features Captain Marvel War Bonds ad featuring cartoon image of Hitler telling Americans to stop buying bonds. Issue also features patriotic cover with Captain Midnight flashing the "V" for victory sign in front of the American flag. Issue #23 features Captain Midnight swooping on gun-toting prisoners of war escaping from "Japanese Prison Camp." All but issue #7 include cut-out planes on some pages, all are intact/uncut. Varying degrees of handling wear including pinch creases/tears to spine. Issue #36 is Good/VG; #s 7, 15, 23 are VG; #s 10 and 57 are VG/Fine.
