Item Description
Marvel Comics. Mar., 1964. Issue features classic Jack Kirby cover with Captain America at center and bold lettering "Captain America Lives Again!" Issue was written by Stan Lee with art by Kirby and features Avengers Giant Man, Wasp, Iron Man and Thor discovering Captain America frozen in the ocean. Sub-Mariner also makes appearance and this issue also marks the first Silver Age appearance of Captain America's sidekick Bucky. Issue has handling wear with pinch creases to spine and some minor chipping along margins of covers. Mostly white field of front cover has yellowed with age as is typical with this issue. A VG copy of one of the most important Marvel comics of the Silver Age.
