Item Description
6.5x9.25" 12-page abridged softcover premium version of a hardcover first published in 1895 as "The Adventures Of Two Dutch Dolls." This later c. 1920s printing has expanded title featuring Golliwogg. 1895 book introduced the Golliwogg character and it increased in popularity, quickly surpassing the Dutch Dolls. Prose story interspersed with full color and bw illustrations. Back has E.L. Field & Co.'s store (Northfield, VT) imprint. Lt. handling wear/aging. VF.
