Item Description
Taller figure is 7". Basketball hoop stands 7.5" tall. c. 1940s. Lot consists of two high glazed bisque figures wearing hair-like garments around waist. Taller figure stands w/other player's head in his hands and a surprised look on his face. Second figure is headless w/basketball under his arm. Comes w/2" square ceramic base that holds a wooden post and backboard w/wire and cloth hoop. Rittgers produced a similar themed set featuring basketball players in uniform. These natives have numbers on their backs (11 and 7). Comes in original generic 3x5x7" corrugated packing box w/notation on top reading "Head Hunters/Two Figures/One Net." Box is Good. Figures are Exc.
