Item Description
Lot consists of six 3.5x5.5" bw photo cards from 1924 adventure film serial "The Fortieth Door" which was directed by George B. Seitz and is now considered to be lost. Lightly aged but Exc./N. Mint. Also comes with 3.5x5.5" theater invitation card which reads "Dear Sirs - I Would Like To See Pathe's 'The Fortieth Door.' When Will You Show It?" This card was then designed to be mailed to theaters to encourage showing of film. Unused with scattered aging. Fine/VF. Also included in lot is pair of 4x9" blotters with bi-monthly listings for 1920. Included are Jack Hoxie serial "Lightning Bryce" (Feb./Mar.) and wild animal serial "The Lost City" (Apr./May). Scattered wear, "The Lost City" is VG, "Lightning Bryce" Fine.
