Item Description
22x40.5". c. 1945. Poster features art by Bill Bailey of "The World's Biggest Menagerie" including circus train containing leopards, seals, lions, tigers, polar bears, chimpanzees and mandrills, tapir, monkeys surrounding Big Top scene showing animals including giraffes, rhino, hippopotamus, buffalo, antelope, deer, camels, zebras, ostriches, cassowary and a circus train car containing Mr. and Mrs. Gargantua The Great gorilla pair. Back of scene has line of 33 elephants. Poster has .5" replaced borders which show staining from tape on reverse. Center vertical fold has tape reinforcements along back, showing through to front slightly. Main poster image remains clean and bright. If framed, would display Exc. Great graphics.
