Item Description
13" long (cab connected to trailer) friction tin litho truck by Line Mar. c. 1950s. GMC cab has Olive Oyl portrait on roof of cab and "Popeye Movers Inc." name on doors. Front of trailer has Popeye portrait, sides have full body Popeye image with spinach and portrait of Swee'Pea. Top of trailer has comical scene showing Wimpy eating hamburger with club behind his back as Olive Oyl and Swee'Pea look on and man with large knot on his head sits on floor. Trailer is complete with both back doors which are often missing. Friction works. Scattered paint wear/nicks/scratches. Still glossy and Fine. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
