Item Description
3.75x7.5x2-5/8" deep box has brass panels and edges over a wood interior. Hinged lid has glass over sepiatoned image with text "Capt. Chas. A. Lindbergh/Non Stop Flight, New York-Paris/New York May 20, 1927 - 6:52 A.M./Paris May 21, 1927 - 4:20 P.M." Front side has working mechanism to lock lid closed but key is not here. Lid underside carefully covered by glass mirror with one minor 1/8" dark dot. Small tarnish or loss of brass luster. Likely used for holding cigars or any small objects. Scarce and VF.
