Item Description
Lot of three "Panorama Eggs" c. 1930s-1950s. Each egg is made of sugar crystals with sugar icing decorations/accents. Opening at one end to view tiny printed die-cut paper panorama scene inside. Each remains wrapped in original cellophane. All are boxed. Two are 4x6". One with two 1" long cracks visible under close inspection. Both are in their original brightly covered boxes with Easter Bunny-themed paper covering. 1950s. Boxes remain tight, clean. Third egg is 2.25x3" long. Comes in different box with 1936 copyright. Egg Fine. Box with Easter theme shows lt. wear. VG. Lot also includes a complete Collier's magazine dated Apr. 3, 1920 and features a delightful illustration of a young girl holding one of these eggs to her eye for viewing. An interesting group. Likely few eggs have survived. Overall Fine.
