Item Description
Set of eight 11x14" lobby cards for 1960 Japanese Anime animated film known as "Saiyu-ki" and released in 1961 in the United States as "Alakazam The Great!" Film is based on the Chinese legend "Journey To The West." Story deals with a mischievous Monkey King aggravating the Gods and being forced on a mission to accompany a prince as penance. Said Monkey King is featured on 7 of 8 cards. For the American version, Frankie Avalon dubbed Alakazam's singing voice. Lt. handling/aging. All have foreign tax stamp but for the most part display Exc.
