Each pulp deals with different adventure themes with great covers. Jan., 1940 issue features first appearance of Pongo Jim Mayo in "East Of Gorontango" by Louis L'Amour. Mar., 1940 issue features Edgar Rice Burroughs story "The Terrible Tenderfoot"; Apr. and May issues continue story. Jun., 1940 issue features Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan story "Tarzan And The Jungle Murders." Cover features great image of Tarzan riding elephant. Trimmed covers as is the norm with bound volumes. Issue pages have scattered wear with chipping along margins. Fine overall.
