10.75x12.25" hardcover with clear acetate cover which has been pressed into film reel design. Distributed exclusively by Screen Gems. c. late 1940s. Book deals with several classic Columbia Pictures including "All The King's Men, On The Waterfront," Dr. Seuss film "The Five Thousand Fingers Of Dr. T, The Wild One, Phantom of the Opera" as well as films starring such noted actors/actresses as Marlon Brando, Kim Novak, Spencer Tracy, James Stewart, Rita Hayworth, Danny Kaye, Jack Lemmon, Humphrey Bogart, Tyrone Power, Robert Mitchum, Lucille Ball, Joan Crawford, Ginger Rogers, Betty Grable, Janet Leigh, Charlton Heston, Marlene Dietrich and Claudette Colbert. Each page has bw photo, synopsis, running time and other film information. Limited issue, book was most likely sent to TV station programmers as films were being advertised for television broadcast. Book shows moderate aging and lt. wear. Fine overall.
