Item Description
8x10.5". 100 plus pages. Club logo applied to tooled leather front cover. Cover page reads "Archery/Our Book/Jane & Bernard/Commencing Jan. 1953 In Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii." Interesting to note that this is all taking place by members of the US Armed Forces before Hawaii became a state. Inside cover has 5 high quality medals with enameling. Contents include "Constitution Of The Armed Forces Field Archery Club Of Oahu." Also includes 35 first/second/third place competitors ribbons from various meets. Many pages are filled with newspaper photos/clippings. Also four real photos of club members' activities. Many of the ribbons have hand-notations on paper underneath the attached ribbon. Book spans club activities from Jan. 1953 through Dec. 1954. Cover spine worn but intact. Cover Good. Contents interesting. Fine.
