Item Description
Pair of 8x12" thin cardstock cover Saalfield coloring books copyright 1940 based on Alexander Korda's 1940 Academy Award-winning film "The Thief Of Bagdad" which starred Conrad Veidt and Sabu. Saalfield consecutive numbers 1430 and 1431. Both feature Sabu and repeat illustrations on front and back cover - one of him on flying carpet, other with genie in bottle. #1430 is strictly coloring book in design, #1431 is storybook in design with bw illustrations to color with story text. Both are unused. Lt. handling wear with pinch creases to spine. VF/Exc.
