Item Description
First is 9x12" mailing envelope with Hoppy and Topper. Simulted woodgrain finish to front and back. Back of envelope reads "This Is Your Hoppy Mail Pouch/Use It To Protect Your Club Materials." Envelope has Jan. 17, 1952/Los Angeles postal cancellation. Aged. Envelope Fine. Envelope holds three 8x10" paper items, including a full color Hoppy picture with facsimile signature, introductory letter from Hoppy and membership certificate with member's name typed in at top. Savings club was sponsored at "First Federal Savings Association Of Washington." Letter and certificate are printed on simulated woodgrain design. Also included is 2.5x4" member card with similar woodgrain appearance. Card reverse has "Hopalong Cassidy's Secret Code" pictorial and instructions. Next is 4x6" one-sided "New Member Enrollment Card" for savings club. Trace of tape residue. Last is 3.75x8.5" tri-fold savings club membership folder. Opens to 8.5x11". Printed on both sides. One side pictures and describes seven "Bar 20 Honor Badges." Badges range from "Tenderfoot" to "Bar 20 Foreman." Text explains various degrees of savings earning higher honor badge ratings. All envelope contents remain VF to Exc.
