Item Description
Lot consists of two items in original boxes. First is 2.5x2.5x7" box holding 2.25" dia. by 7" long working tin telescope which extends to 13". Graphics and text are printed on paper under acetate. Bottom text includes "© 1961 NYWF/Unisphere © Presented By United States Steel." Box is missing top flap, 3/8x.75" adhesive price sticker appears on side. Good. Telescope is Exc. Lot also includes 2.25x2.5x3" box holding metal perpetual calendar. Box shows lt. surface dust and handling wear but Fine. Mechanical calendar has 2x2" base w/2.25" dia. hinged face. Two-sided calendar face is suspended from yoke attached to base. When face is turned over, the date in the window changes. Two dials on base allow change of month and day of week. Tin lithographed face has rwb illustration of Unisphere w/text "1964-New York World's Fair-1965." All silver luster remains intact. Working. Very N. Mint.
