10x10x1.75" deep box. c. 1920s. Made by "McDowell Manufacturing Company Pittsburgh." Nice lid graphics of 3 planes. 3" long edge flap missing at top right. Two corner splits. Center of lid has area punched through, but complete. Box Good. Box contains interesting metal spinning game. Three 2" aeroplanes with movable propellers are attached to lower 8.5" dia. disk. Planes act as pointers to indicate players' score. Text around upper disk along outer edge explains "Game 100 Points - Two Or Three Can Play - Select Your Plane - On Each Spin Add Or Subtract Number Indicated By Pointer On Your Plane." Top disk spins at a faster rate than lower disk which makes planes move at a different speed. Various points are assigned to an extensive list of destinations, including international destinations such as Paris, London, Mexico City, Melbourne, etc. Trace of wear from use on score area. Overall toy remains bright with nice graphics. Well designed. Fine.
