Item Description
8.5x11" typed letter on Beany and Cecil Bob Clampett letterhead is dated Jul. 13, 1951 and has facsimile signature of Beany. Letter content mentions "Time For Beany" puppets and where they were available to buy. Folded as issued and lightly aged. Exc. Comes with original envelope with "Time For Beany" silhouette images in return address area. Postmarked Jul. 13, 1951. Envelope has obvious aging/wear from mailing and has end roughly torn open. VG. Comes with pair of 3-3/8x5.5" bw fan cards, one with glossy stock and Royal Crown Cola advertising imprint on reverse, the other non-glossy with Bell Brand snack foods advertising imprint on reverse. Second fan card shows moderate aging. Fine overall. Scarce.
