Item Description
This is the first post-war Mickey watch, 1946. Rare as it was only produced for one year. Comes in original box with hinged lid that has both fabric and gold foil covering. Interior has names of "Kelton/US Time." Moderate scattered wear. Fine. Watch has 1x1.5" 10-karat gold-plated metal case and original leather band. Band shows moderate wear from use, Fine. Dial was issued in 2 different versions, this is variety without "Kelton" name but with all 12 numbers. The other variety has "Kelton" name but only the numerals "3/6/9/12." Dial features separate die-cut Mickey head which is on a post and designed to rotate with the hour hand. Watch is running and head rotates, however, hour hand cannot be set. The silver case back has surface wear, however, the gold case retains nearly full bright luster. Dial has some tiny traces of wear upon close inspection but remains bright and clean. VF. Rare with box, only the second boxed example we've offered in our 42 years.
