Auction #197 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 991 in auction 197
Item Description
Smallest is 1" oval for "Tydol (Flying A Gasoline)." Largest is 4" at center for "Red Crown Superfuel." On this the red rim color has faded some and there are minute craze lines in the paint but it still displays quite cleanly. Other buttons for AC Spark Plug, "Whirlfoam" Motor Cleaner, "Dirty Dan" Carbon Remover (this has couple of tiny age dots, mostly on the outer edge). Also buttons for "997 Motor Oil," Carter Carburator Corp., All State Tire, Gates Fan Belt Service and the Chevy "Guide" button which has logo at top reading "Thank You Flint For Fifty Years Of Confidence." A graphic and clean group with minor noted exceptions. Mostly from the 1930s. The Chevy button is likely 1950s.
